Jacques "Jake" Bray, Sr., 80, of Stoneville passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his residence.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Central Christian Church with Pastor Buddy Reed officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm before the service at the church and other times at the residence.

Jake was born in Eden on September 27, 1940, a son of Haywood Bray and Katherine Griggs Bray, both deceased.  He was a retired supervisor with Cone Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jacques "Jay" Wiley Bray, Jr.

Jake is survived by his wife, Faye Ferguson Bray of the home; his children, Dixie Jones, T.J. Bray, Randy Bray, Sandra Watkins, Kenna Pruitt, Ricky Durham, and David Durham; his grandson, Jerry Barbour and wife Renee; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Lynlee; and his nephew, Ryan Campbell.
