James Curtis "Bugg" Farris, Jr., 56, of Eden passed away on Wednesday morning, August 17, 2022, at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home.

Bugg was born in Rockingham County on February 25, 1966, the son of James C. Farris, Sr., and Ann Lovelace Farris.  He was the owner of Farris Taxidermy.  He loved spending time outside hunting and fishing and was a huge Jimmy Buffett fan.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Bauer Farris; his parents, Jimmy and Ann Farris; his stepson, Wesley Stowe; his beloved dogs, Otto and Angel and numerous friends.
