James Bradford Hopper, 87, of Eden passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

There will be no services.

James was born in Leaksville on September 14, 1937, a son of David Ravelle Hopper and Daisy Rorrer Hopper, both deceased.  He was a salesman, formerly working for Pilot Life Insurance Company.  He was a 32 degree Mason and one of the first Eagle Scouts in Rockingham County.

In additon to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Carl Bradford Hopper; his brother, William Robert Hopper, and his granddaughter, Carla Brook Hopper.

James is survived by his son, Scott Hopper; his grandchildren, Christopher Scott Hopper, Anna Marie Hopper, Mallori Nicole Hopper, Emily Dawn Hopper; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Quinleigh.
