Janet Saunders Gardner, 65, was born on November 28, 1960, and went to her heavenly home on September 25, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2 pm at Draper Christian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Janet was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. We will remember her as caring, generous, and selfless to those she loved. She was a member of Draper Christian Church and lived a life of faith in the God of creation and Jesus, her Savior. She loved living on the farm and enjoyed raising a vegetable garden, dogs, chickens, and cows. Most of all, she loved her Valerie-doll.

Janet wore many hats in her lifetime. Among them, hard working employee at Morehead Memorial Hospital, meticulous caregiver/CAN, and head of sterile supplies at Danville Regional Medical Center before retiring. Her absence in this world leaves behind big shoes to fill and we will miss her so much.

She is survived by her husband, David Gardner; children, Ian Williams and Janland Roberts; grandchildren, Lyndzey Brigham, LeiAnnah Houchins, Landon Roberts, and Sydnie Williams; great grandchildren, Valerie Rubio, Kynleigh Houchins and Southern Brigham; sister, Brenda Chilton; brother, Roger Saunders; niece, Katie Alcorn; nephew, Kevin Chilton; and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mildred Saunders; and granddaughters, Layla Williams and Saijel Williams.
