Janet Marie Lumpkins Justice, 68, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, December 31, 2022 at King Memorial Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm before the service at the church and other times at the residence.

Janet was born in Danville, Virginia on May 5, 1954, the daughter of John David Lumpkins and Lillian East Lumpkins, both deceased.  She was retired from Karastan Rug Mill with over 39 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Edward Murphy.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Angela White; her brothers, John David Lumpkins and Robert Herman "Skip" Lumpkins; her grandchildren, Brittany Robertson and Jose Terrazas; her great grandchildren, Summer Rayne Robertson and Camden Jacob Robertson; her nieces and nephews, Tangela Doss, Dana Terry, Chris Lumpkins and Connie Strader; her great nieces and nephews, Peyton Terry, Damian Moton, Devon Lumpkins, Alyssa Nicole, Brianna Brown and Ethan Strader; and her great great nephews, Mason Morris, Grayden Brown and Gunner Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
