Janet Lee Robertson, 73, of Eden passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Janet was born in Stuart, Virginia on September 17, 1947, a daughter of Wilbert Lee Robertson and Margaret Thornton Sheppard Robertson, both deceased.  She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, James Monroe Penn.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Brown of Ridgeway, Melissa Robertson Martin of Amelia, VA, Tiffany Robertson of Eden; her sister, Karen Ann Robertson Amos and husband Ed; her grandchildren, Tori Brown, Kristi Brown, Shauna Porter, Jalen Robertson, Zachary Martin, Chasity Martin and Edward Martin, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Kylie Moore, Kierston Moore, Kaciana Moore, Legen Brown, Za'Kari Richardson, Zavain Richardson, Kensley Jamerson, Kayslee Jamerson, Madison Martin and Jasmine Martin.

Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home is serving the family.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to assist with cremation expenses.
