Jeffrey Lynn Jones, 49, of Eden passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A memorial service will be ehld at 2 pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Guerrant Springs Baptist Church, 2505 Guerrant Springs Road in Ruffin, NC.

He was born in Eden on July 19, 1976, a son of Junior Jones and Shirley Pruitt Jones, both deceased. 

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Heather Overby Jones of the home; his mother and father-in-law, Ronald Steve Terry and Susan Diane Terry; his brothers in law, Terry Overby (Deborah) and Timothy Overby (Julie); his nieces and nephews, Kala Overby (Joseph), Jessica Overby (Jimmy), Timothy Perdue (Sydney), Landon Overby, Lily Overby, Kiser Overby, Preston Overby, Peyton Overby, Isabella Overby and Brandon Overby and his fur babies, Jay Jay, Graceland, Blaze, Baby Jay and Blaze, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Walker, Bobby Walker and Joanna Walker Alverson.
