Jerry Rodger Bailey, 75, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his home.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Jerry was born in Spray on August 3, 1945, a son of Andrew Jackson Bailey and Laura Joyce Bailey, both deceased.  He was retired from Frontier Spinning.  He loved to go fishing, spending time with his family and listening to music.  He was a loving, hardworking, devoted father and husband.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Otis Bailey, Joe Bailey, Edith Hall and Connie Casey.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gladys Coleman Bailey; his daughter, Kimberly Gantt and husband Kenny, Karen Ritter and April Garrabrant and husband Brian; his sisters, Brenda O'Conner, Maxine Paschal and Marie Howell; his grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley, Brennen and Aiden and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Vivian, Lily and Athena.
