Jerry Lee Bridges, 85, of Stoneville passed away Tuesday July 29, 2025, at The Penn Center.

There will be no services at this time.

Jerry was born on November 6,1939 in Rutherford County, NC, a son of Morris Bridges and Edna Mott Bridges, both deceased. He retired from Cone Mills, Cliffside Plant and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC. He lived his entire life in or around Cliffside, NC until last summer when he moved to Stoneville to be near family.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Raye" Lail Bridges of the home; his son, Richard Bridges and wife, Toni of Stoneville; his grandchildren, Lindsay (Chad), Haylee (Evan) and Devyn (Kyle); his great grandsons, Eli, Clay, James and Cooper and his great granddaughter, Carter.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded by his son, Kenny Bridges; his sister, Doris Cantrell; and his infant brother.
