Jerry Francis Turner, 81, of Reidsville passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at a later date.

Jerry was born on March 4, 1941 in Eden, a son of William Francis Turner and Viva Griffith Turner, both deceased. He worked for Dan River Mills as  a printing press operator.

Jerry is survived by his girlfriend, Everline Rice of Reidsville; his daughter, Catherine Turner Hodges of Eden; his grandchildren, Barry Cobb, Jr. and wife, Tracy of Eden, Jeremy Cobb of Eden, Serena Jarrett and husband, "H" of Reidsville and Brandon Hodges of Eden; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Elizabeth, Cole, Hannah, Bradley, Delaney, Kimberly, Ashley, Sara-Mae, Payton, Charlotte and Dakota and his grand furbaby, Phoebe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Charlotte Church and Diffie Turner and his brother, Lerton Midkiff.

The family will meet at the home of Barry and Tracy Cobb, 281 Ashley Loop Road, Eden, NC on Monday and Tuesday, August 29-30, 2022.
