Jessica "Jessie" Nicole Chavis, 40, of Ruffin passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm before the service at the funeral home.

Jessie was born in Robeson County, NC on November 24, 1982 a daughter of Virginia Hunt.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Juanita Hunt and husband, Virgil Withers; her children, Aja Stone of Ruffin and Diceson Smith of Eden and her siblings, April Chavis of Durham, Tina Chavis of Ruffin and Ashley Hunt and husband, Dominique of Pembroke, NC.
