Jewell "Deanie" Hensley Gibson, 75 of St. George, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at UF Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jewell was born July 18, 1945 in Leaksville (Eden), NC to James Robert Hensley and Mildred Burnett Hensley, both deceased.  Deanie, as she was lovingly called by her family, will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Inajo "JoJo" Allen (Lash) of St. George, GA; brothers, James Michael Hensley (Agnes) and Daryl Wallace Hensley, both of Eden, NC; sisters, Sherry Ann Hensley of Reidsville, NC and GiGi Hensley Corum (Durwood) of Eden, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Allen (Heather) of Hammond, LA, LaTishia Collingwood (Robert) of St. George, GA, Megan Agee, Evan Garrett and Kyle Sharron, all of Eden, NC; great-grandchildren, Summer Collingwood, Savannah Collingwood and Cameron Mette, all of St. George, GA, Aubree Garrett of Eden, NC and Autumn and Landon Allen of Hammond, LA; nephews, Shane Hensley (Abby), Duane Hensley (Christy), Ritchie Ellison, Jerry Swift, Jr. (Rhonda), Stephen Swift (Kim),  Johnny Lee Hensley (Susan), and, Joshua Spence Corum (Katie); niece, Michelle Hensley-Shelton (Wes); great nephews, Ian, Hunter, Logan and Grayson Hensley, Tyler, Colin and Mason Swift, and, great nieces, Ember Rose Corum and Chesney Vann Shelton.

Deanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Agee Woodard, Her brother, Franklin Lee Hensley; her sisters, Betty K. Hensley Moore and Susie Gray Hensley; and her nephew, Kevin Dean Moore.

No formal funeral services will be held.
