Jimmy Lee Sands, 50, of Eden passed away on April 22, 2022.

A service of remembrance will be held at 5 pm Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 7671 NC 770 in Eden.  The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 pm before the service.

Jimmy was born in Eden on February 6, 1972, the son of William Curtis Sands, Jr., now deceased, and Shirley Deane Sands.  He was an avid sports enthusiast of UNC Carolina and the Washington Redskins.  He was a devoted son.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his sister, Angelia Callahan and husband Mark of Pinnacle.
