John Louis Flynn, Sr., 91, of Eden, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.

John was born in Madison on February 12, 1933, a son of Marvin Flynn and Tula Nance Flynn, both deceased.  He was the former owner of Flynn Furniture Co.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Annie Tuttle, Lillian Morton and James Flynn.

John is survived by his wife Myra "Rudene" Walker Flynn of the home; his son, John Louis Flynn Jr. and wife Annalisa of Reidsville; and his grandson, Brady Flynn.
