John B. Martin "Dee Dee" of Reidsville passed away peacefully at his home from a long-term illness on May 31, 2023. He was 87 years old.

He was the father of 5 boys which included 2 sets of twins. He was a 3-year Army Veteran and served 24 years in the Army National Guard. He also retired from being a truck driver for Sears and Roebuck. His first love was for his dogs, Taco and Connie. He spent his golden years enjoying the "quiet life" of retirement with his pups.

Family included Tommy and Carlene Martin of Reidsville, Sammy and Michelle Martin of Trinity, Timmy and Angela Martin of Reidsville, David Martin of Texas. He was preceded in death by Danny Martin of High Point. Grandchildren included Jessica, Savannah, Shannon, Amanda, and Sammy. RIP Dee Dee. You are already missed!
