John Warren Paschal, Sr., 78, formerly of Eden, passed away on November 21, 2021 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale.

As requested by the family, there will be no formal service.

Mr. Paschal was born in Reidsville on January 11, 1943, a son of Jesse C. Paschal and Gladys McCollum Paschal, both deceased.  He retired after 30 years of service from Miller Brewing Company.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie C. Paschal of Stokesdale; his son, John W. Paschal, Jr. of Richmond, VA; his daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Blackwell of Reidsville; his step son, Gary P. Donovant of Knoxville, TN; his brother, Larry Paschal of Albemarle; his sister, June Purcell of Reidsville; his five grandchildren, two step grandsons and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Lynn Paschal Miller.
