Joshua "Josh" Wayne Jones, 31, of Eden passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in Hickory.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday, July 9, 2021 at the funeral home and other times at 446 Belmont Court in Eden.

Josh was born in Rockingham County on December 17, 1989, a son of Mark Wayne Jones and Stephanie Brooks. He worked at Food Lion.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Brittany Jones Bullins and his grandmother, Brenda Jones.

Josh is survived by his father, Mark Jones and wife Jennifer of Sanford; his mother, Stephanie Brooks of Eden; his sister, Bryanna Nicole Brooks of Eden; his grandparents, Donna and Gary Gardner of Eden, Howard "Wayne" and Kay Jones of Reidsville; his aunts and uncles, Brandon and Vivian Hammock, Kelly and Chad Edwards and Lisa and John Swain; his nephew Cayden Bullins and several cousins and close friends.
