Juanita Belcher Moore, 92, of Eden passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, June 17, 2024, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am Monday before the service at the funeral home.

Juanita was born in Floyd County, Virginia on April 22, 1932, a daughter of Luther John Belcher and Louana Belcher, both deceased.  She was retired from American Tobacco Company.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and especially her Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband David "Buddy" Moore; her stepmother, Claudine Belcher; her grandson, Lee Moore; and her siblings, Sylvia Epperly, Carl Belcher and J.B. Belcher.

Juanita is survived by her sons, David Moore, Brian Moore (Donna), Marshall Prillaman (Geri Middleton), Dwight Prillaman (Tina), Sean Moore (Jennifer) and Chris Moore (Kristal); her grandchildren, Austin Prillaman, Savannah Prillaman, Lydia Turner, Caleb Moore, Sarah Dodson, Joseph Moore, Kenna Moore, Darrell Moore, Ciara Prillaman, Leah Prillaman, Ashtyn Griffin; and numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Rockingham County Meals on Wheels Program.
