Judith Terry Brown, 79, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Brian Center in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Thursday evening, January 19, 2023 at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home.

Judy was born in Eden on June 3, 1943 one of seven children born to Henry Wiseman Terry and Velna Eanes Terry, both deceased. She worked most of her adult life at Fieldcrest-Cannon Bedding until she retired. She was a long-time member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Eden, a cancer survivor, and an avid Rook player.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Floyd Meeks; her son, David Meeks; her sisters, Mary Barnes and Barbara Hooker; her brother, Howard Terry; her brother-in-law, Ronnie Hooker and her granddaughter, Michelle East

Judy is survived by her sons, Michael Meeks, Sr., Richard Meeks (Kimberly), daughter-in-law, Sheila Meeks; her sister, Mildred Tilley, (Elwood); her brothers, Jimmy Terry (Tina) and Stevie Terry (Diane); her grandchildren, Michael Meeks, Jr. (Bekki), Melissa Meeks, Genny McCrickard, Rick Meeks (April), Nikki Meeks, Felicia Meeks (Mike), Jennifer Meeks, Amber Thacker (Brad), Aaron Billingsley (Brittany), Amanda Billingsley (Robert); her great grandchildren, Courtney Kanty, Derrick Meeks (Brianna), Christian, Harlie, Joseph, Ava, Shaylee, Austin, Addison, Aaden, Adalynn, Zariah, Grayson, Talyn, Mason, Alder, Emerson; her great great grandchildren, Bryson and M'Kinley and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Judy's memory to Solid Rock Baptist Church in Draper or to Hospice of Rockingham County.
