Julia Ann Biggs, 89, of Eden went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Julia was born in the Leaksville section of Eden on October 12, 1937, a daughter of Beverly James Hill and Lottie Louise Murray Hill, both deceased. She retired from Winn Dixie where she worked in the deli. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of Wayside Church of the Living God and served as a Sunday School teacher there for many years. She loved her church family as well as her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.

Julia is survived by her children, David Buckner (Pattie) of Hillsville, VA, Beverly Lemons (Tim) of Eden, Mechelle Biggs of Eden, Robert “Bo” Biggs (Tonya) of Eden, Brandon Jay Biggs of Galax, VA; her 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
