Karen Ann Stultz Johnson, 82, of Eden passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 1 pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dan View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, May 24, 2026, from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home and other times at the residence. 652 Overby St. in Eden.

Karen was born in Eden on March 15, 1944, a daughter of Larry Randle Stultz and Dora Saunders Stultz, both deceased. She worked as the bookkeeper at Johnson Motor’s and did many years of volunteer work at Dan View Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Jay Johnson and wife, Melinda, Lawrence Johnson and wife, Wendy all of Eden; her sister; Eleanor Perdue of Eden; her grandchildren, Destiny Lynne Johnson, Marsha Sirkin and husband, Al and Tiffany Voris and husband, Will, Jimmy Moore and wife Danielle; and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Johnson; her daughter, Misty Lee and her brothers, Keith Stultz and Elwood Stultz.
