Katherine "Jane" Collins, 72, of Reidsville passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Carmel Presbyterian Church, 2048 Carmel Road, Charlotte, NC 28226.

Jane was born in Shelby, NC on July 29, 1951, the daughter of William Porter McArthur and Katherine Izzi McArthur, both deceased.  Her educational career included teaching at Cochrane Middle School, serving as principal of The Fletcher School and Idlewild Elementary School.  She loved cooking, being a grandmother, and decorating for every holiday.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Collins; her daughter, Kelly Karalunas and husband Jared, Kassie Robinson and husband Jacob; her grandchildren, Clair and Cooper Karalunas, William and Luke Robinson; her sister, Harriette Greene and husband Eric; and her brother, Jim McArthur.
