Kathy Ann Moore Griffith, 68, of Eden, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 pm on Thursday before the service at the funeral home.

Kathy was born on March 22, 1957, a daughter of Grover Cleveland Moore and Geneva Land Moore, both deceased. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved dancing and music.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Griffith (Vee) of Wentworth, Jesse Griffith (Wendy) of Eden and Michelle Sedwick (James) of Eden: her sister, Teresa Williams (Jerome) of Eden: her brother, Leonard  "Monk" Moore  (Ann) of Angier, NC; her grandchildren, Zachary Sedwick (Keke), Alexander Sedwick (Bianca) and Matthew Sedwick; great grandchildren, Callum, Dakota and Lialah; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Kathy was predeceased by her brother, Pete Moore: her sister, Marie Moore Mauldin and her granddaughter, Taylor Griffith
