Keith Douglas Dalton, 67, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

Keith's wishes were to be cremated and his remains scattered at his favorite fishing place. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so from 2 until 4 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home and other times at the home of Scott Dalton.

Keith was born in Eden on February 14, 1953, a son of Bobine McCullough Dalton and the late Bernice Dalton. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1972. He was an avid fisherman and loved the beach. If you wanted to make him happy, all you had to do was show up with a fishing pole and he was ready to go. Keith's grandchildren were the apples of his eyes. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Bessie McCullough, Otha and Ruth Dalton; his niece, Renee Marlowe Richards and his nephew, Christopher Marlowe. We are sure he was received in heaven with open arms by them.

Keith is survived by his loving son, Scott Dalton and his loving daughter, Amy Dalton Gibson and husband Andrew, all of Eden; his mother, Bobine Dalton of Eden; his grandchildren, Carley Elizabeth Faye Gibson, Andrew Colin Gibson and Maggie Jane Dalton; his sisters, Ellen Dalton Marlowe and husband Charles of Wilmington, Tonya Dalton of Eden; his brother, Jody Dalton of Eden; his close nephew, Charles "Chip" Marlowe and other multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
