Mr. Kenneth Wayne Edwards, 65, passed away early Saturday morning, April 22, 2023 at the Ivy at Gastonia.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.

A native of Rockingham County, he was born January 25, 1958, to Arthur Ray "Doodle" Edwards, and the late Mildred Meeks Edwards. He worked in home construction.

He is survived by his father, Arthur "Doodle" Edwards of Eden; children, Carrie Woods of Ridgeway, Jesse Edwards of Tillery, NC, Adam Edwards of Rocky Mount, VA; siblings, Gwenneth Grogan of Stoneville, Corinne Brooks and husband Mike of Eden; grandchildren, Brianna Watkins and husband Tray, Seth Edwards, Samara Peoples, Gabriel Edwards; great grandchildren, Cooper and Korbin Watkins; and fiancé, Caroline Manis.
