Kenneth Reese Mabe, 54, of Mayodan passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at his residence.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm on Saturday before the service.

Reese was born in Rockingham County on September 18, 1970, a son of McKinley Mabe and Joan Haley Mabe, both deceased.  He formerly worked in maintenance for the Town of Mayodan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Vera Mabe and Dexter Mabe.

Reese is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robin Cardwell Mabe; his daughter, Cassandra "Cassie" Mabe; his stepdaughter, Amber Clark Williamson (Ralph) of Winston-Salem; his sisters, Varanda Langley (Mike), Robin Mabe, Wendy Smith (Jeff); and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boone & Cooke Funeral Home to assist with cremation expenses or to the local animal shelter.
