Kerrey Talbott Hopper, 72, of Eden passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Kerrey was born on June 16, 1950 in Leaksville (now Eden) to the late Fletcher and Sallie Griffin Talbott.  She graduated from Morehead High School, Class of 1968.  Kerrey was a long time member of Leaksville Christian Church, serving as Secretary and Treasurer, and was a retiree of Pillowtex (Fieldcrest-Cannon).  Following her retirement, she worked as Administrative Assistant for the Rockingham County Literacy Project.  Kerrey loved her church, her family and her friends.  She was funny, kind and caring.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, William W. "Bill" Hopper, Jr. of Eden; her brother, Kenneth Talbott (wife Barbara) of Ashland, KY; and her nephews, K.E. and Griffin Talbott.
