Larry Joe Overby, 81, of Reidsville passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Annie Penn Hospital.

To honor his wishes, there will be no services.

Larry was born in Rockingham County on March 9, 1945, a son of Chesley Roling Overby and Mary Walker Overby, both deceased. He retired from American Tobacco Company.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Overby; his sons, Timmy Overby and Tracy Overby; his siblings, Tim Overby, Gene Overby, Chesley Overby and Shirley Cook; and his grandson, Mackenzie Gibbs.

Larry is survived by his children, Todd Overby, Tammy Worley and Tasha Overby; and his grandchildren, Brianna Overby and Tayla Edwards.
