Lawrence Murline "Danny" Burchell, Jr., 69, of Martinsville, VA passed away on October 11,2024 at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 3 until 5 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Danny was born in Eden on January 18,1955 a son of Lawrence Murline Burchell, Sr. and Ruby Williams Burchell, both deceased. he worked as a roofer for Wilson Roofing Company.

He is survived by his son, Michael Farris; his sisters, Denise Foley of Martinsville, VA, Dettera Harris and husband, Buddy, of Eden, Debra Burchell Lori Hodge of Eden and Hilda Seals and husband, Roger of Eden; his brothers, Joseph Burchell and Stephen Burchell, both of Eden and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Danny was predeceased in death by his wife, Laurie Farris Burchell.
