Lee Ann Ziglar, 89, formerly of Stoneville passed away on Saturday evening, December 26, 2020 at North Pointe of Mayodan.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Nathan DeFalco officiating. Social distancing will be observed and everyone is asked to wear a mask.
Lee Ann was born in Rockingham County on October 20, 1931, a daughter of Oscar Baynes and Betty Evans Baynes, both deceased. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved caring for her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Ziglar.
Lee Ann is survived by her children, Jane White and husband Curtis of Madison and Lee Ziglar of Stoneville; her brothers, Wade Baynes of Georgia and Charles Baynes of Eden; her grandchildren, Amanda Ziglar, Jessie Ziglar, Kayla Tilley and husband Donnie; and her great grandchildren, Emily Mosely, Tyler Mosely, Alanna Tilley and Cora Tilley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Matthews Chapel UMC Cemetery Fund or to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of North Pointe for their excellent care of Mrs. Ziglar.
