Lillian Chilton McFarling, 93, formerly of Stoneville passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the home of her son in Myrtle Beach, SC.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday, January 15, 2021 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  Mrs. McFarling will lie in state at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 until 5 pm and Friday from 9 am until 1:30 pm for anyone who would like to pay their respects.

Lillian was born in Stoneville on September 18, 1927, a daughter of Franklin and Ellen Lemons, both deceased.  She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, William Thomas Chilton and Houston McFarling and her siblings, Alfred Lemons, Clarice Odell and Frances Mabe.

She is survived by her children, Gale Malloy of Greensboro and Thomas Chilton (Clara) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sister, Pauline Baynes of Summerfield; her grandchildren, Cindy Malloy, Kim Lawson, Kevin Chilton; her great grandchildren, Kristin, Kassie, Kelly, DeAna and Nathan; and her great great grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas, Phillip, Willow, Parker, Nora and Leo.
