Linda Harrison Edwards, 73, of Sebring, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Linda was born in Leaksville on July 20, 1948, the daughter of Andrew Jack Edwards and Ella Mae Harrison Edwards, both deceased.  She received her Associate's Degree at Montreat Anderson College in Montreat, NC, her Bachelor's Degree at Belhaven College in Jackson, Miss., and her Master's Degree at Wheaton Grad School in Wheaton, Ill.  She was an elementary school teacher and counselor.   She moved to Sebring in 1993 and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.  She was very kind, compassionate and soft spoken.  She loved to share her love for Jesus with those around her as well as through phone calls to her friends in North Carolina and Virginia.  She encouraged others and lifted them up in prayer often.

Linda is survived by her aunt, Edna Harrison Clark of Madison and several cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
