Linda Oldham Kallam, 69, of Eden passed from this life to live in her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Ancora Compassionate Care Hospice Home.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Osborne Baptist Church. DUE TO MULTIPLE EVENTS SCHEDULED AT THE CHURCH ON SATURDAY, THOSE ATTENDING THE SERVICE ARE ASKED TO USE THE STADIUM DRIVE PARKING AREA AND ENTER THE FRONT ENTRANCE. The family will receive friends after the service at the church and other times at the residence.

Linda was born in Guilford County on September 11, 1956, the daughter of Mary Lois Pace Dodson and the late Richard Merlin Oldham, Sr.  She worked in advertising sales for many years with the Eden News and recently as office manager with Home Lumber.  She was an active member of Osborne Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brothers, Rocky Oldham, Ricky Oldham and Rex Oldham.

Linda is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Kallam of the home; her son, Drake Ashton Jones Sr. (Nora) of Danville and their son, Drake Ashton Jones, Jr.; her daughter, Lora Leigh Haskins of Eden and her children, Caylee Haskins and Gavin Miles Haskins; her step son, John Grange Kallam III (Teresa) of Eden and their children, Emily Kallam and Natalie Kallam; her step daughter, Heather Marie Ramirez (Jose) of Eden and their daughter, Carmen Ramirez; her mother, Mary Lois Dodson of Eden; and her beloved dogs, Raven and Penelope.
