Linda Gonzalez Kindley, 49, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am before the service at the funeral home.

Linda was born on November 8, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Joseph Arthu8r Gonzalez and Carolyn Hallman Gonzalez, both deceased. She was a well-respected Emergency Room nurse at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. She was a hard worker, a fierce lover, a caring and selfless woman who was driven to help her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Preston Long and her sister, Vicki Ross.

Linda is survived by her husband Cody Owen Kindley of the home; her son, Kristopher Long (Tori) of Eden; her siblings, Joseph Gonzalez of Eden, Lorraine Gonzalez of Lumberton, Cathy Anderson, Pamela Anderson of Wisconsin; and her granddaughter on the way, Nova Jean Long.
