Linda Sims Richardson, 65, of Eden passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Holland Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Monday, October 3, 2022, at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Linda was born in Eden on August 14, 1957, a daughter of Elwood Sims and Mary Lamberth Hazelwood, both deceased.  She was retired from Frontier Spinning.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Marshall Hazelwood; her sister, Virginia Smith and her step brother, Scotty Hazelwood.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Richardson of the home; her daughter, Angie Dallas of Eden; her son, Bradley Richardson and wife Misty of Eden; her siblings, Marie Peck and husband Raymond of Eden, William Sims of Burlington, Anthony Holt of Eden, Maurice Hazelwood and wife Donna of Stoneville; her step siblings, Mark Hazelwood and wife Teresa of Georgia, Wendy Woodall and husband Mike of Charleston, SC; and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Dallas, Sarah Dallas, Braden Richardson and Braxton Richardson.
