Linda Corum Singletary of Southport, went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, April 11, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of her son at 1188 Garrett Road in Eden.

Linda was born on June 15, 1945, a daughter of Ruby and Spencer Corum, both deceased.  She was a graduate of Ruffin High School.  Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping and traveling.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Martha and Willard Singletary; her great-granddaughter, Arianna Boykins; her great-grandsons, Epic Cristello and Jeremiah Amos Wright and her great-nephew, Cory Shropshire.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Barry Singletary of the home; her sons, Dale Dishmon (Teresa) of Eden, Raine Dishmon (Ashleigh) of Southport, Steve Dishmon (Dee Dee) of Eden; her grandchildren, Austin I. Dishmon of Eden, Brittany Noe of Jacksonville, Fla., Chandler Tucker of Southport, Courtney Prewette (Tyler) of Eden, Faith Nugent (Seth) of Madison, Ala., Jack Kelly of Wilson, NC, Kylie Bell (Rasheem) of Virginia Beach, Va. and Ryan Dishmon (Heather) of Stoneville; her great grandchildren, Alexis Boykins, Allison Nugent, Ava Boykins, Evelyn Nugent, Dakota Prewette, Hallie Wright, Isla Nugent, Reese Dishmon, Waylon Dishmon and Zaria Boykins; her brother, Curtis Corum (Janice) of Ruffin; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Jones (Graham) of Rockingham, NC and Janice Martin of Greensboro; her brother-in-law, Glenn Singletary (Linda) of Rockingham, NC; her special niece, Joy Corum Shropshire of Ruffin and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
