Lois Elizabeth Corum, 41, of Eden, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at UNC Chapel Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Dan View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday, July 8, 2022, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister Bobbie Jo Harris, 321 Glovenia Street in Eden.

Lois was born in Eden on May 21, 1981, a daughter of Charlotte Campbell Burchell and the late John Franklin Corum, Sr.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Ed. Corum, Lois Jarrett Corum, and Bobby Campbell.

Lois is survived by her mother, Charlotte Burchell and husband Jackie; her siblings, Billie Jo Manley, John Franklin Corum, Jr., Bobbie Jo Harris and husband Chris; her grandmother, Mae Elizabeth Campbell; eight nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews, all of which she spoiled.
