Lynda Lou Goins Butler, 82, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Gibson House.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Mayodan Moravian Church Cemetery, 103 S. 3rd Avenue, Mayodan, NC.

A native of Rockingham County, she was born on May 7, 1940 to the late Lacy Alfred Goins, and Avis Gann Goins. She worked as a nurse in a nursing and rehab facility.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Terri Simmons.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Simmons of Stoneville, Layne Dabbs and Amy Miller of Mebane, Adrian Dabbs and wife Chasity of Mayodan; siblings, Velma Burcham of Stoneville, Audrey Gray of High Point; as well as several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
