Scott Wray, 68, of Stoneville passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Monday, August 31, 2020 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service.

Scott was born in Eden on May 11, 1952, a son of Monroe Wray and Esther Overby Bateman, both deceased.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  He and his wife Betty were owners of Challenges Group Homes in Rockingham County.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Hale Wray of the home; his sons, Matthew Wray and wife Blair of Reidsville and Jordan Wray of Stoneville; his brothers, Vann Wray and wife Lisa of Rocky Mount, VA and Kevin Wray and wife Cynthia of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and his grandchild, Delta Wray.
