Malcolm "Mickey" Stafford Cox, 68, of Eden passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at other times at the residence.

Mickey was born in Eden on April 18, 1953, a son of Stafford Opry Cox and Genevieve Shelton Cox.  He was retired from Miller Brewing Company.  He was a volunteer fire fighter serving with the Draper Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years.  He retired as fire chief in December 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Christian Dela Cruz Cox of the home; his children, Matthew Cox and wife Christina of Eden, Denise Bullins of Eden and Jake Dela Cruz and wife Abigail of Denmark; his parents, Stafford and Gen Cox of Eden; his sister, Genny Ziglar and husband Vann of Eden; his grandchildren, Michael Bullins, Marvin Bullins, Matthew Cox, Isabell Marks, Adam Dela Cruz, Jackson Dela Cruz and Chloe Dela Cruz, Ivy Depriest; and his nephews, Nathan Ziglar, Stephen Ziglar and wife Kristine; and his special companion, his dog Moose.
