Margie Ruth Stophel Frazier, 95, of Eden passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 2 pm at Dan View Cemetery. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.

Margie was born in Eden on April 26, 1927, a daughter of Edgar Stophel and Mamie Moore Stophel, both deceased. She retired from Fieldcrest Mills in Eden.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruby West and Linda Fargis; her brothers, Paul Stophel, Wayne Stophel, and Gary Stophel; her grandson, Alan Frazier and wife Tracy; and her great grandchild, Sydney Frazier.

In addition to her parents, Margie was predeceased by her husband, George Edward Frazier, Jr.; her son, Ken Frazier; her sister, Edna Stevens; and her brothers, Charles Stophel, John Stophel, and Ernest Stophel.

The family would like to thank Ruby Gilley, Margie's care giver for taking such good care of her for the last several years.
