Marie Bailey Howell, 81, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Cone Health.

To honor her wishes, there will be no services.

Marie was born in Ridgeway, Virginia on April 7, 1941, a daughter of Jack Bailey and Laura Joyce Bailey, both deceased. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William Anderson Howell; her children, Thomas Howell, Annette Howell, and Lynnette Lux; her sisters, Brenda O'Conner and Maxine Paschal; and her grandchildren, Dale Jackson, Matthew Lux, Christina Lux, Sarah Lux, Karl Howell, Beth Howell and Casey Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to PBS North Carolina.
