Obituary

Mark Kevin Davis, 69, of Reidsville went to his eternal home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital.  No one was more ready to meet Jesus than Mark.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Osborne Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am before the service at the church.

Mark was born in Granite Falls, NC on March 13, 1955, a son of Carl Henry Davis and Annie Church Davis, both deceased.  He retired from Miller Brewing Co.  His favorite thing in life was being a Dad and Papa.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Tanner Davis; his father-in-law, Larry Rayfield; and his brother, Steve Davis.

Mark is survived by his wife Karen Rayfield Davis of the home; his children, Riley McMillian (Doug) of Eden, Sam Davis (Emily) of Eden, Cale Davis of Reidsville; his mother-in-law, Ann Rayfield of Burlington; his siblings, Cathy Foster (Steve) of Black Mountain, NC, Mike Davis (Margie) of Concord, NC, his sisters-in-law, Cindy Hall (John) of Burlington, Laura Conway of Beaufort, NC; his grandchildren, Cayden McMillian, Declan McMillian, Elijah Davis, Micah Davis, Maggie Davis, Abbie Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
