Mark Avery Martin, 39, of Eden passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Matrimony Creek Greenway Shelter, 1335 Washington Street in Eden.

Mark was born in Rockingham County on September 2, 1985, a son of Ginger DeHart Goins and the late Thomas Allen Martin.  He was an experienced dog trainer whose nickname was "Blessed".

Mark is survived by his children, Zachary Martin of Reidsville, and Emily Martin of Ridgeway, VA; his siblings, Johnny Martin of Eden, Michael Wade Pulliam of Eden, and Jody Lee Pulliam of Eden; his aunts, Sandra D. Ratliff, Ruth McCollum (J.W.); and his great aunt, Judy Barker.
