Marsha Jane Varner Doyle, 76, of Eden, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

A visitation will be held from 4 until 6 pm Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  No formal service is scheduled at this time.

Marsha ("Jane" to her children and grandchildren) was born on October 23, 1945, the only child to the late Grafton Reason Varner and Lucy "Lucille" Cox Varner in Reidsville, NC.  Most of her adult life, she worked in the food industry including Jose's, Golden Corral, Western Steer and Chancey's until she became disabled later in life.

She enjoyed painting and crafting until her hands and eyes would no longer allow her to participate in these activities.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Conoy Cortez "Sonny" Moran, III and her second husband Joseph Pete Doyle, III.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Moran Meeks (Richard) and Michelle Leigh Doyle.  Grandchildren include Rick Meeks (April), Nikki Meeks, Matt Pert, Logan Pert, Kyndall Pert and Jacob Johnson and one great-grandchild, Marrok Vaden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of her to First Presbyterian Church, Children's Ministry; Hospice of Rockingham County or to Stoneville Elementary School.
