Martha Ann Stone, 90, of Eden passed away on Thursday morning, June 24, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Nursing Center.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends after the service.

Ann was born in Henry County, VA on November 5, 1930, one of ten children born to Bryant William Clark and Winnie Craig Clark, both deceased.  She was retired from Hardee's.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and "could outcook anybody".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Lee Murphy; her second husband, Marvin Lynwood Stone; and her daughters, Donna Murphy and Brenda Culp.

Ann is survived by her granddaughters, Andrea Hazelwood and husband John, Laura Sawyer and husband Jonathan; her step children, Sharon Bolden, Jeff Stone, Ronnie Stone; her great grandchildren, Raven and Jonah Hazelwood, and her great-great grandchild, Maverick Baulding.
