Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Jones, born November 12, 1946, passed away peacefully on July on July 6, 2026.

Libby was a woman full of heart, joy, and unmistakable style. She loved singing “Amazing Grace,” a hymn that brought her comfort throughout her life. Saying the blessing before meals was deeply important to her, a reflection of her faith and gratitude.

She adored her family, especially her brothers, and she never missed a chance to enjoy her favorite comforts – Coke, coffee, her beloved jewelry, and a fashionable outfit. Libby found joy in the simple pleasures of watching her soap operas and game shows, which kept her smiling day after day.

Libby is survived by her brother Billy Jones. She was preceded in death by her mother Irene Jones, her father Sherman Jones, and her brothers Garland Jones and Wilbert Jones.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Rouses, whose care, love, and support over many years made them an extension of Libby’s family. Their Kindness and dedication will always be remembered.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.
