Maxine Bailey Paschall, 90, of Eden passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Friendly Worship Center, 1110 Morehead Avenue, Ridgeway, VA 24148.  The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 pm before the service at the church.  A meal will be served for the family members after the ceremony.

Maxine was born in Ruffin on September 16, 1934, a daughter of Jack Bailey and Laura Gauldin Bailey, both deceased.  She was a retired teacher assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Wilson Edward Paschall, Sr.

Maxine Is survived by her children, Debra P. Strausser (Louis) of Eden, Wilson E. Paschall, Jr. (Carolyn) of Eden, and Randall W. Paschall of Eden; her sister, Brenda O'Conner of Eden; her grandchildren, Lisa, Mark, Jackie, Whitney, Malcolm and several great grandchildren.
