Michael Jay "Mike" Richardson, Sr., 48, of Eden passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Carillion Roanoke Hospital.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Mike was born in Richmond, VA on July 26, 1974, a son of Jennifer Wade McGrady and the late David Eugene Richardson, Sr.  He was skilled in all aspects of construction.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Richardson, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving companion of 24 years, Crissy Moore; his children, Ashley Lancaster, Jay Richardson, Levi Richardson, Summer Gould, and Cassi Reyes; his mother Jennifer McGrady; his sister, Kim Moore; his grandchildren, Walker Gould, Kaylani Maldonado, Daralynn Gould, and numerous nieces and nephews.
