Michael Jay Klutz, 32, of Stoneville, passed away on July 22, 2022, after a long-fought battle with ALS.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.

Michael was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 25, 1989, a son of Thomas Jay Klutz and Harriet Morrin Klutz.  He graduated from Glenn High School in 2007.  He served in the U.S. army from 2008-2013 as a MP.  He married Brittani (Smith) Klutz on August 7, 2021.  Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and amazing uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman and Irene Klutz as well as his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Flora Morrin.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Brittani (Smith) Klutz, are his daughters, Hanna Rhyen Klutz, age 10 and Jordan Maya Klutz, age 6.  He is also survived by both parents, Thomas and Harriet Klutz of Kernersville as well as his brother, David Klutz and wife Ouida of Rural Hall, Andrew Klutz of Dupont, WA, Christopher Klutz and wife Missy of Mocksville and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Michael's memory be directed to the ALS Association.
